Older versions of Turf treated abs as a compiler built-in with an error of its own. It is an ordinary function in the standard library now (math::abs), like every other, so nothing produces E055 any more. The number is kept so that an old log or tutorial that mentions it still has somewhere to land, and is never reused for anything else.
Passing abs something that isn’t a number is reported like any other call with the wrong argument types:
mut bad: int = math::abs("negative five");That gives E025: Turf found math::abs, and none of its versions take a string. abs has one version for int and one for double:
mut n: int = math::abs(-5); // 5mut d: double = math::abs(-3.14); // 3.14Run turf --explain E025 for the full explanation.
Run turf --explain E055 in a terminal to read this again.
